Advertise your garage sale by creating a public event on Facebook. If your community has a Facebook page, ask the page’s admins if you can advertise your garage sale on their page. Instagram, Snapchat, and Pinterest are great ways to advertise too.

But don’t forget about non-digital advertisements. Post signs around your neighborhood and in local shops too. On the day of your garage sale, make your location obvious with balloons and posters.

Layout

It is important your garage sale is easy to navigate. Try to organize all of your items by category and price. Try to put low priced items towards the front of your garage and higher priced items towards the back. Placing popular, low priced items (i.e. records, clothes, etc) towards the front will attract more customers.
